What Can You Expect When You Visit Us?

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" John 4:24

What is our Worship Like?

Our worship services are patterned after the simple worship of New Testament Christians.  There are no clergy to "perform" before an audience.  We celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus through communion every Sunday.  You will find enthusiastic, yet orderly congregational a cappella singing, that is, singing without the accompaniment of instruments. Our prayers flow from our hearts.  Our sermons and classes are Bible centered.  All who are present are encouraged to participate, as did the Christians who knew Jesus personally, over 2,000 years ago.

What is our plea?

We seek a complete return to the authority of Christ as revealed through Himself and His apostles (Matthew 28:18).  We strive for a complete return to God's Word, the Bible, as the only source of religious authority.  We teach Christ's own plan of salvation, instructions for church structure, and commands for Christian living.  We pray for the restoration of the unity that was characteristic of the churches of Christ in the days of the writing of the New Testament.
